Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Qrin ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of Qrin, on iOS and Android, and cover your use of the App's two core features: scanning QR codes and creating QR codes.

Qrin is a free mobile application that provides two core features:

• Scan QR — point your camera at any QR code and instantly read its contents.
• Create QR — generate QR codes for 8 content types: Website Link, Plain Text, Wi-Fi Network, Email, Phone Number, SMS Message, Contact Card, and Location.

All processing happens on your device. Qrin does not require an account, does not connect to servers to store data, and does not transmit your QR content anywhere.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Qrin. If you are under 13, please do not use the App. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use Qrin with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

By using Qrin, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You agree to use Qrin responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for:

• The QR codes you choose to scan.
• The content you encode into QR codes you create.
• The way you share or distribute QR codes.
• Any consequences arising from your use of the App.

You may not use Qrin to engage in any of the following activities:

Violation of these rules may result in termination of your right to use Qrin and, where applicable, legal action.

You retain full ownership of any content you create using Qrin — including text, URLs, contact information, Wi-Fi credentials, or any other data you encode into a QR code.

Because Qrin does not transmit your content to any server, we never see, receive, or store your content. You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of your content.

The Qrin app — including its design, code, brand, logos, icons, illustrations, and text — is owned by Qrin and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on Qrin without our prior written permission.

Qrin integrates a small, carefully chosen set of third parties — only where required to deliver a core feature. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms.

Qrin is free to use and is supported by a single, non-intrusive banner ad served by Google Mobile Ads. This ad is never personalized — no tracking identifiers are used to build a profile of you.

The banner collapses to zero height when no ad is available, so it never takes up empty space. You will never be interrupted by interstitials, pop-ups, or rewarded videos beyond what's necessary to keep the app running.

Qrin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied — including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any QR code you scan will be safe, accurate, or trustworthy.
• The App will meet all your specific requirements.
• Defects in the App will always be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qrin and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Qrin and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third party's rights.
• Any QR code you create or distribute.

You may stop using Qrin at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. Because Qrin does not have user accounts, there is no account for us to terminate — you simply stop using the app.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from your use of Qrin shall be resolved in the courts located in Pakistan.

If you are accessing Qrin from outside Pakistan, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll add an in-app notice the first time you open Qrin after the update.

Your continued use of Qrin after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
